Loved highly professional staff and big size hotel.

My room included coffee and climate control. It boasted nice views over park. Very early check in at 4 pm and excellent service. Furthermore, there was a public parking on-site. The prime location was close to Marion Square.

Unique historic building with a great location for exploring the city. Enjoyed the free breakfast and happy hour. Despite some issues with the room, the staff were helpful and accommodating when we needed to change rooms due to a flooding issue. I recommend this hotel.

The location of the Embassy Suites Charleston - Historic District is ideal, as it is conveniently situated downtown. The staff is also very accommodating and willing to assist. The queen room we booked had all the amenities we needed, such as central heating, a safe, and a writing table. It was great that we could park our car onsite, and it only took us about 15 minutes to walk to downtown from the hotel.

Breakfast was very good. Staff very pleasant, especially in the restaurant. There is a trolley stop at the hotel. Lovely atrium, with large fountain and comfy seating (breakfast served here as well). Walking distance to shops and eateries. Loved the history of the building.

During rain storm, water began leaking through sprinkler system and through ceiling at corner of room during the night- and we were on the 3rd floor! Front desk did comp this night and moved us to another room the next day. Another day, housekeeping completely skipped our room. Front desk sent someone up to at least deliver new towels.

The rooms are spacious and there is private parking available. We enjoyed hanging out at the nearby Victor Social Club. There is a free bus service provided. It was a fantastic way to finish our vacation.

We loved the Old Citadel property, the complimentary cocktail hour, hot breakfast, and the Farmers Market. The beds were comfortable and the suites were perfect for families. The location was convenient to the market, restaurants, and shops on King St. The staff was exemplary and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.

    Nothing negative to say.

Beds very comfortable, staff very considerate and helpful

Rooms were small needing refurbishing. You couldn't fit a night stand on both sides of the bed. Carpets were frayed, bathrooms very small. Just not like other Ebassy Suites.
